All LBDA classes are conducted in English.
Registration Procedure
Step 1: Please call 647-802-3498 to set up an appointment with the teacher. The teacher will meet with the parents and student to find a suitable class.
Step 2: Please bring a tray with fruits, flowers and Guru Thatchanna ($1 or $11 for good luck) for the first day of dance class for the pooja and adhere to the dress code. Please read the policies below.
Policies
CLASS CANCELLATION
Laya Bhava Dance Academy reserves the right to cancel any class temporarily or permanently due to emergency, weather conditions or low enrollment.
ATTENDANCE
Missed classes are sometimes unavoidable. However, since continual absences negatively affect the progress of the entire class, every effort should be made to attend all classes. There will be no refunds for missed classes.
DRESS CODE
ALL dancers are required to follow the LBDA dress code: Students should wear salwars or dance sarees to class. Students not dressed appropriately will not be admitted to class.
HAIR
Hair must be tied back in a neat, secure ponytail or braid. Bangs should be clipped back and out of the face.
